Hector Gallardo is a lifelong music fan and musician and founder of Subharmonic City Productions, an El Paso film and video production company. He worked corporate jobs, indulging his hobbies in his off-time. After his fourth layoff, he quit the corporate world and focused on filmmaking. Subharmonic City originally was going to be the name of a podcast but turned into a music video and filmmaking venture, which won the 2022 edition of El Paso’s 48- Hour Film Challenge.
Hector Gallardo will appear with the Subharmonic City Productions Showcase of music videos and short films at 10 pm Friday, July 28 in the Philanthropy Theatre.
