The world’s largest classic film festival will return to the historic Plaza Theatre August 2nd – 12th, 2012. This year’s Plaza Classic will include all of the special programs you’ve come to expect, including important and favorite titles from our cinema heritage along with local films, shorts, concerts, outdoor screenings, film talks, celebrity guests and film scholars. We’re pleased to announce the Plaza Classic will once again be partnering with the El Paso Museum of Art for a major exhibition which will run through the summer (stay tuned for an official announcement) and this year’s festival will pay special tribute to the films and legacy of two iconic studios, Paramount and Universal, each of which will turn 100 years old in 2012.
